As Director of Coaching Services, Karen directs Career Strategies' on-site coaching services for employers and provides coaching services for individuals on-site. Her Human Resources background includes a variety of HR positions in several industries (biomedical, computer electronics, and government defense/electronics).
Since 1992, her area of specialization has been career transition and career management, emphasizing the development of a career plan designed for lifetime employability. Combining her knowledge of business and career management with an extensive knowledge of jobs and competencies people use to manage their careers successfully, she counsels individuals through the decision making, planning and execution of their plans. Karen has delivered workshops and seminars on change management, career decision making, and career transition and has been the editor and publisher of a monthly newsletter for individuals in job transition.
Karen holds a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management from the State University of New York at Plattsburgh. Her graduate studies have emphasized career management, organizational development, reward and benefits systems, and organizational communications.
